Answers:
For a finger food dessert: take phillo dough squares and put in muffin tins, bake in oven until golden brown - then fill with prepared chocolate pudding and a dollop of cool whip on top.

cheese & cracker tray
veggies w/ veggie dip

cucumber sandwiches w/ mayo, ranch dressing or cucumber dill spread

Crab Rangoon:
6 oz can of crab meat (must sift through w/ fingers to get the hard bits of cartilidge out)
pkg of cream cheese
1/4 cup of mayo
dab of steak sauce
mix together
fill 1/2 of wonton - fold over and seal
pan fry, boil or bake in the oven

bownies

A favorite of mine is parmesan bites. You take crescent rolls (the ones you have to bake) and then take a mixture of cream cheese, parmesan cheese and garlic and spread some on the dough. Fold the dough and then bake it according to the directions on the can. Another is pig in the blankets. Or take the lil smokies and cook them in bbq sauce.

spread soft cream cheese on a plate, pour shrimp cocktail sauce and canned baby shrimp over it. Serve with ritz crackers.YUM!

How about rolling little balls out of fondant to look like a pearl necklace and decorate a cake with it?

Think of food that resemble the jewels:

Right now is a perfect season for pomegranate, they look like ruby. You can make pomegranate martinis and put a few fresh pomegranates in the drinks.

Make diamond shape cookies and sprinkle with the crystallized sugars to create a jewelery effect.

You can make a cupcakes or a large cake and use the crystallized sugars for decoration and create jewel like shapes with the right colors.

Suggested Colors: Turquoise blue, ruby red, emerald green, clear for diamond, purple for amethyst, saphire blue, silver and gold.

You can go to any party store, (eg: Party America) and buy jewlery theme accensorie and serving dishes. (gold and silver colors)

If they have ice trays in the form of jewlery you can use them to make ice cubes, using grape juice, cranberry juice, apple juice, etc. to make punch...you can add pomegrnate too.

Hope this helped..
