How much money can a cocktail waitress expect to make in a night?!

Question:

How much money can a cocktail waitress expect to make in a night?

I have a friend who is thinking about being one and she wants to know how much they make?

Answers:
depends in what city..... you could make more in Vegas vs. Akron........

any wheres from 15 to 20 % is average from total sales it goes as well for servers

That depends is it topless, totally nude or what, a couple questions.

1 Does she take the **** in her tail?
2 Does she swallow?
3 Is she hot, (I guess that should have been the first question)

It depends on a couple of things , what town, is she good looking, what kind of bar or resturant and how good she is. I would say if she has all of those traits about 20 to 30%

it depends where you work. i cocktail waitressed at a strip club and made about $400 on friday nights. the guys had singles to spend so...they passed them out like flyers. if you cocktail at local normal everyday place (not a strip club or expensive bar)...that massive stack of singles might not be there to spend. it also depends on your personality...if your'e dull and boring...you might not get a tip at all, but if you are fun/funny/outgoing/whatever...... will be like..."hey! shes great, give her a big tip"

I've worked in a few places as a server and many of them have had cocktail waitresses. I have a lot of friends that are cocktail waitresses at other places as well. Most of them make very good money, especially on the weekends. It really does depend on the kind of place you are gonna be working though (as everyone has said).

Really, you are serving people drinks, and as more drinks come, the freer these people feel with their friendliness and money alike. So, not that I'd say a percentage, but you should expect a nice chunk of change.

Depends on how good-looking she is.
