I need game and ideas for a teens formal party?!

Question:

I need game and ideas for a teens formal party?

We have the theme, it is black and white semi- formal. We will have about 50 people and most will be teens. I need games or things for them to do and i dont want them to be bored.

I have looked at murder mystery games but some seem so complicated it would be hard for people to follow. Does anyone have any ideas.

If anyone has any ideas please help. We will have a large area we are renting and a dance floor but I feel like people are going to get board after awhile.

Answers:
Teens would rather sit around and talk (and dance) than play games!

Look up a game called mafia. Don't do board games, go with big group games that allow interaction with people.

Give a prize for best dressed.

a formal party that includes games will be boring for teenagers, they will want to chat, dance.....eat, and dance some more....you might offer them a dance contest ....

How about a scavenger hunt type game? You can make up a list of questions that they have to get answers to by interacting with other party goers.

A dance contest is another idea.

You can have games like truth or dare, scavenger hunt, princesses and prince, dancing, kareoke, dance compititions or something like that!!!

Being formal you really don't want to play many games. I think if you have the dance going and then maybe set up casino type games around the room that would be fun. Then not everybody has to play at the same time and it doesn't feel so structured and childish. You can have texas hold 'em, black jack, roulette, etc.
