Sour and Sweet dips

Doesn't matter what type of party you're planning.

Something easy is best such as shrimp and cocktail sauce.

stuffed mushroom caps, chicken tenders and dips, shrimp and cocktail sauce, little weiners and bbq sauce, chips and dips, fruit and vegie trays, I always make a spinach dip (from the back of KNORR Vegie Soup MIx package) and buy a round loaf of bread (cut the top off to look like a circle and remove bread from inside leaving a shell--put dip into bread bowl and tear up bread into pieces to use with the dip)

Baby Shower entertaining - Here is an adorable dish that will delight your guest.
You will need a small seedless watermelon. We are going to take the watermelon and cut it out to look like a baby carriage. Mix together a fruit salad with some of your favorite foods and serve it in the watermelon bowl.
Best of Luck

They have one simliar to what i am talking about at the webpage below!

Fruit tray with dip (mix 8oz cream cheese and 16 oz marshmallow fluff together), veggie tray, crackers and cheese. We also served little chicken salad sandwhiches at mine. And of course cake, lol!

Momma has a good idea fruit and veggie trays.

Meatballs- Bag of frozen meat balls in a crock pot with BBQ sauce.
Deviled Eggs
Tuna salad with townhouse crackers.
Store bought- cheese ball w/ crackers.
Chips

Cold foods are quicker.

Cheese Pretzels

1/2 c Unsalted butter, softened
2 1/2 c Shredded aged cheddar cheese
2 tb Dijon mustard
1 1/4 c Flour
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Cayenne pepper
1 Egg white

Shape these nibblies into pretzels, or make sticks or rounds. You can make them up to three days ahead, then store in a cookie tin.
Serve at toom temperature or reheat them in a 300 oven for 5 min.

In bowl, cream butter until fluffy; beat in cheese and mustard. Combie flour, salt and cayenne; add to bowl and stir just until mixture holds together, being careful not to overmix.

Form into disc and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill for 30 minutes Divide into 1 tbsp balls; roll each ball into 10 inch strip. Twist ends over each strip to form pretzel; place on baking sheet. Brush with egg white; prinkle with poppy seeds. Bake in 375 oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until pale golden color. Makes about 2 dozen.

TRY MINI BEEF WELLINGTONS. CUT 1/4 INCH PEICES OF FILET AND WRAP THEM IN FILO DOUGH. BAKE 8 TO 10 MIN. IN 305 OVEN.THIS MIGHT TAKE A FEW EXTRA MIN. BUT IT WILL BE WORTH IT.

Pepperoni rolls, make a mix like nuts, m&ms, cashews, rasins, thats what i had at my baby shower.

Make your own or buy a package of ready made meatballs

Add to a crock pot of :
10 oz grape jelly

**veggie tray....ranch dressing
**finger sandwiches-you can buy a tray at WalMart or Sam's Club

fruit cake sandwich dips

Our family loves crockpot meatballs & there are a lot of recipes for those here. Another one that we like is something we call ham rolls. Simply spread cream cheese on a thin slice of ham & roll it up log style. sounds crazy simple But it's pretty tasty. There are never any of these leftover.

Fruit, veggie and cheese tray. (all healthy stuff for baby)

cucumber sandwiches

Proscuitto-wrapped melon is good, smoked salmon finger sandwiches with herbed cream cheese ( Barefoot Contessa ) you could also do a trio of hummus with pita... use variations of hummus like roasted red pepper, kalamata olive, and garlic.
