Why do the best parties always end up in the kitchen?!

Question:

Why do the best parties always end up in the kitchen?

Answers:
All people really want to do is get to know people they meet and the only way to do it is to talk. You can't do that in the party centre where the music is going ninety and you have to shout to be heard. Hence the kitchen.

That's the food source.

The kitchen is the heart of the home.

cos thats where the alcohol is

Cause the Kitchen is where the Party is! Where else could it be? Bedroom is closest to kitchen may be!

it's where all the food is :]

and alcohal.

cos thats wher all the drink is

people will always end up wherever the food and more importantly alcohol is! there's always plenty of space to stand in a kitchen, leaning up against the worksurface, rather than standing around in a lounge if there are no spare chairs. and alot of people prefer to stay standing so that they can mingle!

because thats where you are, you're wonderful you know !

oh, and the beer's in the fridge.

That is where you find the FRIDGE (source of life giving food and beer) and generally not so much loud music, and when someone barf's it's usually on the deck, patio or living room floor. The best next place is the garage, (if they have a beer fridge out there too).

cuz whatevr food u keep on tha table can b finished fast, but in the kitchen, u can keep cookin n eating n th party goes on.......

It's always where everything is going on...food, drink...

The guests like to see where the food they've just eaten was prepared, and in any case, it's never quite so noisy in the kitchen so you can actually hear yourself speak !

Good question! I have always wondered that myself. I think that is because most people have the food and drinks in there.

because people in the beginning are too busy; talking drinking maybe dancing; and they remember food at the end; so they go to the place that offers food and drink, and people anyway become more friendly at the end of parties; so the kitchen is a good place to socialize:)

Because thats were all the action is! Its a fact that setting up tables starts with utensils. Then the appetizers, follwed by bringing out each course and drinks and desserts and the arranging of food on plates is very exciting. The aromas are fun and the hustle and bustle of preparing food and doing some hands on activity is great for bonding and talking, whether is goes on as planned or not! I love cooking with my female relatives, they talk about everything and everyone! Its great to see generations of women together in the same place!

its cozy and friendly.

Let's see...Food, drinks, all the necessary tools and gadgets.
Ohhh, the spills are much easier to clean on a kitchen floor vs the living room?

because the kitchen is the least personal part of the home so many guest feel more comfortable in the kitchen it also gives them the right to stand and not look edgy. it is also the easiest to clean spills from and the least cluttered and open space in the house normally

Interesting question. I think it has to do with wanting to put a dish into the sink and just lingering...You know, that little "guilt trip" our mothers sent us on as young children (Go and put that into the sink for your hostess.)? Since that is where all us guilty people already are, we just stay and talk...

Usually where the food or drinks are so you just end up staying.

The kitchen is the hub.

you are going to the wrong parties, the best parties always end up in the neighbours pool.

Kitchen = hearth of the home
Most people feel more comfortable in the kitchen.

Bc that's where the food and alcohol are. As a host I find it really annoying!

They do dont they! Mine end up in there as the kitchen and garage are the only places in my house that people are allowed to smoke. Also the alcohol is generally in there

ever had a good shag on the kitchen table
well theres your answer

Because you've all had a joint at some stage or another in the night and now you've got the MUNCHIES.

Because that's where the booze and food are !
