Any Asian food suggestions for a potluck dinner?!
I've never cooked Asian food before, and I don't want all the hassle of slicing tons of veggies!. Does anyone have a suggestion for a simple, great-tasting, crowd-pleasing Asian dish that I can bring to a potluck dinner!?

Another idea might be to make a big batch of hot and sour soup and bring it in a crock pot!. :-)

Asian is all about cooing quickly with high heat, try making this:
Sesame Noodles
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon peanut or canola oil
2 teaspoon sake (or rice wine)
1 1/2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons peanut butter
1 1/2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons hot Sesame Oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
8 ounces Udon (any noodle will work)
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup chopped peanuts
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
DIRECTIONS
1!. Bring a large pot of water to a boil!. Add noodles and cook until tender according to package directions!. Drain!.
2!. Meanwhile in a small saucepan, quickly saute Ginger in oil, add sesame oil then garlic for a quick mix, add sake then chicken broth, soy sauce, peanut butter, and honey!. Cook over medium heat until peanut butter melts and is heated through!. Add noodles, and toss to coat add seeds for final toss!. Garnish with green onions, and peanuts!.
