What's more fun, dinner party or brunch?!

Question:

What's more fun, dinner party or brunch?

I give dinner parties fairly often but, I'm having brunch for 12 today. I enjoy the dinner parties but, I find brunch to be informal and fun. I'm on a coffee break now, better get back to my 'prep' work. Do you agree that the prep for brunch is easier than a dinner party?

Oh, so definitely brunch!!!
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and it's that much better if you make a party of it!
There's so much variety in the foods you can serve, and in general they're way easier to prepare than dinners!
Plus, fewer courses, you can put everything on the table at once, and people aren't in a rush OR falling asleep at the table!!
Yay for brunch!

I would say brunch.......its different and if you get tipsy on mimosas youre fine to clean up the mess later, whereas at a dinner party you may be too tired to clean up before going to bed.

It depends on who takes part in the dinner party! Of course preparing brunch is less elaborate than dinner.

either are time consuming for me, but fun.

I like doing the brunch better so people can stay longer & don't have to worry about going home to ready for bed.

HAVE FUN !

both

It depends. I would say brunch but thats my opinion, it really depends on the mood of the people your inviting

dinner parties

It depends on what you are making. A great brunch always will have to include Mimosa's or Bloody Mary's though!

I agree with you that brunch is easier to prepare than dinner. I've never really prep for a brunch, but I've helped, and I also never had a dinner party, but I've helped. And helping for brunch seems easier than helping for dinner.
And it's good that you're a morning person, I am too, but some people enjoy the night life better.

dinner party
