What could be used as a small snack for a farewell play?!

Question:

What could be used as a small snack for a farewell play?

in my school we (10th grade) have to prepare a farewell play (with videos, dances, songs and anything we like - we have to get creative for this :P) for the ones leaving school and heading to universities (11th grade) so i thought it might be nice to organize it with tables and small snacks and drinks on them so they can delight themselves while getting nostalgic. but im sure we wont be allowed to buy expensive things nor alcoholic drinks, so i need to know what could we give them?

Kiddie ccktails might be good. You'll need 7up and grenadine syrup and ice. Maybe some cherries too. SOme kids may think these are too childish, but everyone does enjoy the taste. Also, popcorn will be a good cheap snack.

pizza or sub

goldfish are good!lol

If anyone has a chocolate fountain (they can be purchased at walmart for around $39), set it up with chocolate flowing and serve it with cut up fruits, pretzels, cookies. As people dip their fruit, they'll stick around to talk.

cheese ball and crackers........I really have a win every time I bring cream cheese block and you put TIGER SAUCE (local grocery by the A-1 steak sauce) all over top for dip. You can also use the Tiger Sauce on meats for a great flavor! Good luck!

you can use ritz crackers topped with ham and gormay cheese, its like finger food

Muffins are easy ans impressive. Just use a box mix if you want. You can frost each and decorate with sprinkles etc.

Cheese and Crackers will make a good snack anytime. You could maybe add lunch meat and make a very inexpensive tray.
If this does not work maybe tuna and crackers, not a very expensive dish either. To drink, get a few bottles of punch of course non alcoholic.

I would do a theme using your school colors & mascot.

For instances - sugar cookies iced in the school colors, or cupcakes iced in the school colors.

You have a good idea - making kind of different stations for drinks and snacks.

You can have a dessert bar, an appetizer bar and then drinks.
Chips & dips, cheese cubes and olives, crackers, etc. are always good and easy to prepare. Nachos are always welcome.
