Question:

I want to throw a nice B-day dinner?

for my hubby. The food is already taken care of. I want to decorate a little, but not over do it, he is 22 today. I have a word string of "Happy Birthday" but tahts it. Any ideas? Thanks!

All men, with the exception of me. Ages are 17, 60, 19, 57, and 22. All family. I get to cooks steaks and other stuff... Horrah!

My grandma had an easy idea. She made a chocolate cake and cut it into rectangles. Then she lined them up like cars on a train and iced each piece with frosting and used lifesavers for wheels.

then i would probably not decorate so much. I would probably concentrate on the serving plates or presentation. use themes like sports or another theme you know that they would like... i know today "poker" is a serious or just a passing time sport sort of speak, so i would set up a table for the boys to play poker. make the ambiance comfortable and leave a movie selection available for them to see...
