This makes a GREAT party:
In your invitations ask that your firnds dress in 50's clothes. Big bows in their hair and big poofy skirts etc. Some grand parents may have attic treasures or thrift stores are also great. Rent a limo for about 100-120 dollars. Pick up each girl at her house and then take everyone bowling. With the left over money you can pick up Diner type food from Sonic or any othe rburger and fries and milk shake place and have a blast.
A very Happy Sweet Sixteen!!!

your home... just ask your mum (and ask to have the house to yourself for a day)! then all your friends and you can cook up something--or pot luck (each friend brings food).

if not, how bout a beach party? have BBQ? or picnic? hmm... i've run out of ideas too!

try the beach
cool place to party
and bonfire

I had a Hawaiian party!!! Happy Sweet Sixteen!!

IF YOU WENT TO A HOTEL OR MOTEL YOU COULD HAVE A POOL PARTY. FUN FOR THE WINTER. MUSIC AND SOME FUN GAMES. YOUR FOLKS COULD RENT THE ROOM AND BE THERE ALSO.

For my 17th birthday party, I rented a party/entertaining room at a hotel that was connected to the pool/hot tub area. There were tables and everything set up. I had people bring food and pop, along with food I made. So we swam and ate and everyone had a really good time. I had about 50 people. It costed about $150-$200.

Here's a website I found. It lists quite a few ideas. Some may be kind of cheesey but others seem pretty fun. I especially liked the idea of a Mardi Gras theme where your guests can come in costumes. Pretty cool. Check it out. I hope you have a great birthday party and good luck!

You could have a spa night.
Just relax in your pjs and order take out (delivery of course). You could have manicures/pedicures, facials, etc. To keep the cost down you could buy the supplies yourself (body lotion, foot scrub, nail polish, face masks) or if you have the money have a professional come over to do the manis/pedis or massages.
