Answers:
Hot Toddies
A toddy is a hot drink, traditionally made with whisky, honey and spices (usually cloves). Traditionally a mug is warmed with boiling water before the warming alcoholic drink is poured into it. Less traditional hot toddies use rum or brandy with an orange slice or a slug of reposado tequila and a slice of lime.

Punch
Rum punch is probably the best known but brandy also works well when it comes to creating punch as a hot drink. Rum and brandy are sometimes combined in a less traditional recipe and also mix lemon zest, fresh ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and boiling water.

Mulled Wine
A Christmas favourite, mulled wine is a spicy and sweet concoction and is sold at London pubs and Christmas markets throughout the winter season.

Red wine is mixed with cinnamon sticks, cloves, grated nutmeg, boiling water, sugar and orange and lemon zest to create deliciously warming mulled wine.

Glogg
Glogg is a Scandinavian version of mulled wine. It is sweeter and stronger. Adding brandy or vodka to the mulled wine gives the brew some kick and throwing in raisins and almonds give an unusual but healthy twist.

Possets
Possets are hot, alcoholic, milky drinks which were all the rage back in the Middle Ages. A classic Scottish posset combines milk, oatmeal, salt, honey, grated nutmeg, honey and a large shot of whisky heated until it is nearly boiling.

Egg Nog
Sipping egg nog for some is a Christmassy as Saint Nick himself. As hot drinks go, this Christmas concoction is deliciously relaxing. Egg nog combines eggs, sugar syrup, caster sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, mixed spices and milk.

HOT SPICED ORANGE TEA

1 quart boiling water
? cup of sugar
10 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks, each 2 inches long

4 tea bags
? cup fresh orange juice
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 slice fresh lemon

Combine the first 4 ingredients in a saucepan. Mix well and bring to boiling point. Remove from heat and add tea bags. Steep 4 minutes. Strain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Place over low heat to keep warm. (Do not boil.) Remove and discard orange rind. Serve in cups, using cinnamon sticks as muddlers, if desired.

WASSAIL (with alcohol)

Wassail is a drink, but the word somes from the time in England when the Saxon lords and ladies cried out "Was Haile," meaning "Be of good health." So it became the custom in England to drink a toast of "Wassail" or 'health' from a great punch bowl filled with hot ale spiced with nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.

Egg nog heated is delicious.

Pimms No3 (Winter) is available from good stockists (e.g., Waitrose). It is brandy-based, rather than the normal gin-based No 1.

Hot HobGoblin Bitter!

Blobs - Australian White Wine, hot water and sugar (I think)

Hot chcolate with a stick of cinnimon mmmmm

A very common Christmas drink is called "Wassail" (spelled and made a number of ways.) There is even a Christmas song called "Here we go a-wassaling."

My mother always made it with Orange juice, Pineapple juice, apple cider, cinnamon and nutmeg and cloves. It is quite good with some spiced rum, or even by itself.

Mulled Cider, or Mulled Ale. A hot toddy.

I saw Hot Cider on sale in Camden Market last weekend. It smelled really nice!

You could also try a Hot Toddy (whisky)

In a mug of black tea add sugar to taste,an orange slice, and a tot or two of spiced rum. Delicious and very warming!

Hot Apple Juice with PIMMS

Hot Buttered Rum is a yummy winter adult favorite. Here is a recipe:

INGREDIENTS
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 pinch salt
2 quarts hot water
3 cinnamon sticks
6 whole cloves
2 cups rum (dark is usually best)
1 cup sweetened whipped cream
1 dash ground nutmeg to taste
DIRECTIONS
Combine the brown sugar, butter, salt and hot water in 5 quart slow cooker. Add cinnamon sticks and cloves. Cover and cook on Low for 5 hours. Stir in rum (do this last so the alcohol doesn't "cook" out).
Ladle from the slow cooker into mugs, and top with whipped cream and a dusting of nutmeg.

or for a warm favorite that can be shared with non-alcohol drinkers, try hot spiced cider or wassail:
INGREDIENTS
2 quarts apple cider
2 cups orange juice
1/2 cup lemon juice

4 cinnamon sticks
1 pinch ground ginger
1 pinch ground nutmeg
DIRECTIONS
In a slow-cooker or a large pot over low heat, combine apple cider, orange juice and lemon juice. Season with cloves, ginger and nutmeg. Bring to a simmer. If using a slow cooker, allow to simmer all day. Serve hot.

Or...I went on this Harry Potter website (Mugglenet.com) and there is a recipe for Butterbeer! Or maybe it was on GodricsHollow.com? If it's on www.godricshollow.com then you can't get it (website was deleted or something) but maybe it's on mugglenet.com. Try www.mugglenet.com, you might find it!

Also, hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps and a candy cane for a stir stick.
