I got a papercut opening my bank statement. Can I sue? FDIC?
Answers:
Sounds like negligence to me!
LoL, you could try...
now that is funny
You would have to prove it.
Ha ha. Nice try, but unfortunately no
The FDIC insures your deposit accounts up to 100,000 USD per depositor. They have no control over whether you open a letter properly. A lawsuit like this would most definitely be dismissed, if you can even find a lawyer to file on your behalf.
you can try -but likely will be tossed out. consider yourself lucky you even have a bank statement to open. ;(
Remember that thing called....... Oh I remember..It's called taking responsibility for oneself. I got cold while walking by the freezer section at my local market. Can I sue for thermal trauma?
Assuming that you're able to stop the bleeding, pick up the phone right now and call a starving attorney. They'll sue anyone for anything. You may want to name the envelope and/or paper manufacturer in the suit. They make those edges sharp on purpose. It's about time somebody went after them. Good luck!!!!
Probably
ahha funny. do you evidence? lol... were you in the right state of mind... when you opened this.. man if i could sue someone for this. i would be a millionare!
No. If I got a cold while visiting you at your house, could I sue you? Do you get my point?
Though funny, how is this food and drink related?
Your money is insured not your health or accidents.
What folks will do for a buck!
By the way, you posted under entertainment and you entertained me.
