If you give your brother's co-workers a reason to participate everyone will join in. Have each "unit" or "department" participate in a Karaoke contest as teams. The winning team will be determined by the best singers and most colorful performances. The prizes could be perks for the winning team back at the office. For example quiting time an hour early one day or a longer coffee break or lunch period. Everyone can have a great time. Much success with your party. Enjoy!

Hi beautiful,

In Japan, where we have private karaoke rooms, we often make a "Gong Show" or "American Idol" game out of the event, and award prizes to the singers who make it to the final round. Of course, the audience should have some way to cast their vote (a sign that they can raise with "X" on one side, and "O" on the other?)...hope this helps...Tokyo D

Things that have worked for us in the past - have one or two departments do a challenge sing -off. That is fun.

Also - Get several people lined up before the event to lead it off, because it is always hard to get the first few singers to get up there and sing.

Provide a box of props - funny hats, wigs, masks, boas, etc. for singers to include in their songs. That gives you lots of laughs, and it helps the shyer ones.

I just LOVE Karaoke! Can I be invited?
