Please help me get organised!!!!!!! ?!
Hi, I'm having an Engagement party soon and want to be organised before the day!. I am going to cook a Lasagna in advance and freeze it, so all I need to do is defrost it nearer the time and heat it up!. I'm also gonna buy some other nibbles, but there are quite a lot of people attending so does anyone have any ideas on what else I can do beforehand so I don't have to do much on the actual day!?!? Do you have an ideas on another large dish I can make and freeze, or any other ideas to help me get organised!? I really need your help!
Thank you very much!. xx Www@FoodAQ@Com

Freezing food is OK, but don't go overboard or you will run out of room in your oven and microwave! :)
Why not look into a good slow cooker recipe!? That way you could throw it all in that morning and let it cook away while you are doing other things!.!.!.
I don't know if you want to spend money or not, but you could always get like a Honey Baked Ham or something like that!. Requires zero cooking and tastes yummy!
Is the engagement party for you!? If so, congratulations!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should make lists of each thing you need to have ready such as food, decorations, games, etc!. Ask someone to be in charge during the party and get as much ready as possible beforehand!. That way you can enjoy the party!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
try some meatballs and freeze them----try some dips----try cabbage rolls---try pesto pasta!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
best thing to do is make a list!
start with all foods and drinks you will need, tableware, decorations, seating, activities or party games and supplies, party music, name tags!.
get as much done as you can a few days before- clean your whole house if you're hosting it there a few days in advance, have all the decorations up the day before (except balloons, wait till day of the party), have your tables set and all your serving dishes clean and out that you will be using, prepare any foods you can that day before!. then that day all you will have to do is some light cleaning and maybe prepare some food and get the drinks on ice to chill!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

First your going to need a lot more than lasagna and nibblers!. Order a cold cut platter and some rolls!. Have your close friends and relatives bring a salad of some sort!. You can also purchase the frozen hoer douerves in any grocery store which only has to be popped into the oven before the event!. I have also made swedish meatballs and italian meatballs which I have frozen ahead of time!. Sausage and peppers also freeze well and can be served in a crock pot!. also the day of the event purchase a loaf of italian bread!. Slice it thin, and put diced tomato's on top with a sprinkle of garlic and some mozzarella!. Heat in the oven until melted!. It makes a nice little hor douerve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Hi - since you're planning to do lasagna, here are my recommendations!. Make lists - lots of lists - menu list, cooking timeline etc!. I'm not sure if you are planning a sit-down meal, or if you are going to do more of an appetizers party, but here's my suggestion!. I'd go with appetizers, things people can eat in only a few bites, with fingers or a fork!. Cut the lasagna into tiny squares and serve with picks, put out trays of mini pizzas or bruschetta, antipasto platters, caprese skewers (cherry tomato, mozzerella balls, basil, balsamic dressing), cesear salad, ravioli/tortelini skewers with marinara sauce etc!. All of these things can cooked ahead and put on platters before the party, and the only things that need to be heated are the mini pizzas and lasagna!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
