Why is it when you ask a question?!
Why is it when people here ask a question about where to go to get the best deals on food, and people take the time to give their opinion they get a thumbs down!? How can you give a thumbs down to their answer when they obviously have told you the best place that they know to go!? Just curious - it doesn't seem right!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think a lot of people just give them without even reading the answer!. I don't know why, but it has happened to me when I have given a complete and polite answer!.

Maybe because the question does not help most people on here!. People are from all over and some restaurants are only in certain areas or maybe the question was taken as a waste of time!. Many questions on here can be answered correctly by doing a fast search on the web which would not waste peoples time here trying to help others!. Or it could of been that the person giving a thumbs down had been to that place and did not like it or found it not cheap as what you were looking for!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
And did you notice that all THESE answers had thumbs down too!? If the Asker doesn't choose a best answer, then the most highly rated answer automatically gets chosen "best answer!." So, if someone gives thumbs down to everyone else, then they have the chance to get the extra points and be picked best answer!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I understand what you are saying!.!.!.People have different opinions - I don't agree with some people so you have to just learn to read or hear what other folks are saying and either take it or leave the advice!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
Perhaps it's because there is a better, more thorough answer given!. It doesn't mean the answer was wrong!.!.!. just maybe not as helpful as someone elses answer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
