10 minutes steaming in a big pot of water should suffice. Very very easy to make! Serve with butter, lime, salt, etc..no problem!
They sell crab shell crackers and forks at kitchen kaboodle stores, etc, for easy eats. make sure to separate the head from the body very carefully. You don't want all that mustardy gunk and gills getting on the good meat..

I would steam it like any other crab and only eat the white flaky meat.

I boil my water add some salt then add those nice size crabs in the water and for about 15 minutes on a medium fire

honey steam with beer applecider vinegar and oldbay! 10 minutes

Get a big pot of boiling water, put in about a tablespoon of rock salt (kosher salt), put crab in and boil for 20 minutes. Take it out, let it cool to the touch, pull off the back( gills & yucky stuff there), then just crack the shell of the legs etc, pull out the meat & enjoy! You can also get all the crabmeat out and freeze it in an airtight container .

steam it, using white wine, sliced tomatoes, onions, garlic, salt and pepper. steam it for around 15 minutes over medium to high heat. after that, remove the crabs, reduce the steaming liquid to 1/3 the original volume. add butter to slightly thicken. use as a sauce. you may also add lemon juice to the sauce to give it a slight tangy taste.
