Italian is nice, it depends how posh you want it, set the basics of a nicley laid table with candles and wine, Then you can choose!.!.!. When i cook i do multi courses,
Spanish !.!. Antipasti (olives, stuffed vine leaves etc, tortilla chips and dip)!. Follwed by main of Paella, Then a dessert
Italian!.!. Mozzerella, Tomato and Parma ham salad, followed by a pasta dish,
Like i say it depends on what you wanna do and of course how much you wanna spend, If your tight with cash then a pasta dish is easy and cheap, if not then splash out and treat both of you on some nice cuts of meat or seafood
Enjoy!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't think it matters what we prefer!.!.!.it's what HE prefers that matters! You should know what he likes and dislikes, I don't think it's so much the food for a special occasion as it is the atmosphere and ambiance!. If it were my husband, it would be Italian or seafood; but, that is because I know what he loves!. Anything tastes wonderful by candlelight!. Have a great evening! Www@FoodAQ@Com
italian is easiest to make!. lasagna, pasta, spaghetti!.!.yummmm! :]

What makes it special is that it's out of the ordinary!. So, of your list, I would go for Spanish!. It's not strange enough to be problematic if he's a picky eater, but it's romantic and exotic enough to entice him!. It's also generally easy to make!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Surely, what WE prefer is neither here nor there - it's what your boyfriend would like, and without knowing that, we can't really be of much help - I mean, to some people, "special" could mean fried eggs, bacon, sausages, black pudding, baked beans, fried tomatoes and fried bread!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Our special dinner for birthdays or anniversaries is veal piccata with a side of steamed asparagus and homemade hollandaise, garlic mashed potatoes with bacon gravy, green salad, and sorbet!. And a bottle of Champagne!. But that's just us!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
