What to do for kids christmas party?
My lil nepews and I need some kid friendly ideas for a party. We want to decorate a tree and an elf house but we need some sugjestions. Anybody???
Answers:
Make sure you guys make a gingerbread house together. Or any other holiday cookies. How 'bout make-your-own stocking stuffer? Have a variety of cheap stockings from the dollar store and candies, Christmas decorated pencils and erasers, playing cards, and other little toys. Put out glitter and markers so they can decorate their stockings, and once the glitter dries, have them stuff it with those candies and toys.
Kids love the thought of making or baking.
You can play musical chairs and stick a number on each chair, put all the numbers in a bag and when the music stops, pull out a number and the person sitting on the chair number you picked out, will receive a prize. The prize can be a Christmas decorated goodie bag (make sure you have enough goodie bags for everyone to win, kids can get all moody or disappointed when they lose) also make sure the music is a Christmas song.
Then put out some boxes of 20-50 piece puzzels of Christmas pictures and make sure they all help each other out, or you can put out some board games.
You guys can watch a Christmas movie at the end when everyone is tired but minds are still active. The Grinch, The Nutcracker, Rudolph, The Santa Clause are all great choices.

Have a pinata!! Stuff it with little toys and candy from the dollar store, blindfold them, and have them take turns trying to smash those goodies out. It's GREAT fun for kids.
You can buy them at WalMart or google "pinatas" to make your own from a ballon, flour and water paste, and newspaper strips.
It's easy, but you have to let it dry a few days before using it!
I'll tell you what my little sis is crazy about. Decorating a gingerbread house and then making gingerbread men and then eating it all.
keep it simple. christmas dvds, grab bag, and lots of finger food. you will lose your mind, if you try to over please, because each with bast==d as his or her idea of what is fun.
give them coffe and they will go crazy kids like that
