Question: 3 boys (+) 1 BIG family party (+) 3 seperate cake, ice cream partys w friends (=) Everyone's happy!?
Does that sound so wrong!?
Ages 1,3 and 6!. Birthdays are VERY close together followed by Christmas right after!.

Do you think it would work out and not seem rude to the family or the boys!? We don't mind having three parties but were almost the only people in our huge family with children, everyone else is grown!. We don't know what to do!. If we invite only the grandparents and aunts then everyone else gets very upset that they were not invited!. So we end up having the entire family over all crammed into our not so big house during winter, 3 times in a row!. Besides the cost of food and supplies for 3 party's and presents for the boys!. also Christmas is a few days later and they deserve a good Christmas also!.
We would be able to have cake, ice cream and games with some of there friends over on there birthdays too!.
Do you think this would work and make everyone happy, especially being able to have family and friend time for all three of the boys for there special days!? It sounds like it would be a lot easier and give the boys a lot more time to be with everyone and have fun! Not to mention it would be less expensive too lol!.
Ideas, comments and advice is more then helpful!. Thank you very much!.

Hey there Kelly

My vote!.!.!.GO FOR IT! Have a family gathering for the b'days for that makes it 1) special for your boys 2) makes it special for your family and 3) makes it easier for you and your pocketbook!

As for the boys and their actual b'days!.!.!.why not just let them invite a friend or two over to spend the nite!? Doesn't have to be a party for yours would probably just enjoy having a friend or two staying overnite with them!.

Miss ya' over on the "Boats/Boating" forum!. Hope you had a great summer on the new boat!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think it sounds great to have a family party with the 3 boys together since you want to have separate parties for them with their friends (they might not feel special if you omit the friends)!.

My daughter was born one week before Christmas and it was hard to separate the two that close to the holiday!. So I had the family party at a restaurant that way all the "stress" was handled by the restaurant and she had a great time!. Some place "kid" friendly like McDonalds or Chucky Cheese where they have a game room or fun center!.

Sometimes certain restaurants have special themes for children's birthdays!. This idea worked for me because my home was small and my family was huge!. The cost is worth it about $10 dollars an meal including the cake!. Its the foods the kids like and no headache for you!. Plus mom gets a day off before the holidays!.

hope this helps!. good luck and enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
