Question:

Bringing snacks to entertainment venues?

i knowim pathetic...but what do other people think of bringing snacks to entertainment venues? it will help me out alot in MG (my mentally gifted class!) PLEASE!!!!!!!

Answers:
It's completely acceptable as long as you're not blatantly violating the rules (i.e. lugging in a 10lb bag of cheetos) or arguing w. the theatre personnel if you're asked to get rid of the unauthorized item.

it would be good. can you answer my question. also look for it, please. It is What is your favorite food?

I think it really helps you save $$, but that's the reason why it's usually forbidden- the venue wants to sell you overpriced hot dogs and big pretzels, in addition to the already inflated admission price.

While movie theatres and other entertainment venues likely ban food brought in from outside the theatre, I would say go ahead and do it. I think it is highway robbery what prices are charged for small snacks in movie theatres. When you want to buy a small drink, there appears to be no such thing...the drinks are all served in garbage pail sized containers and charged accordingly. I would say to be discreet. Carry your own candy bar, chips or fruit in a tote bag. As long as you make sure you clean up your own wrappers, etc. I can't see the harm in it except to the profit margin made by movie theatres.

I always bring my food to a baseball game; like I go to burger king first. Or if I go to the movies I go to Mickey' D's first. I just hide it in my book bag so that the ushers dont' turn me away. Think about how expsenive it is to just get popcorn and a soda almost $10-12 in some places. I also bring my own popcorn and soda to movies.

I think that Entertainment Venues charge way to much for the snack and drinks they sell. I always pack my own in my diaper bag...

My family of four just went to the movies and the total bill tickets and snacks was almost $50, so I am all for bringing your own snacks into the movies. We bring our own candy and a snack for our daughter who has braces and can't eat popcorn or corn chips (the only crunchy snacks most theatres have). I draw the line at bringing our own drinks, that's kind of trashy! :-)
