Get those black and yellow corns that people hang on doors. and put them everywhere. XD

duhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Have a bunch of little kids draw their hands and makem look like turkeys!! and put singns up that say happy thankgiving offline!!

Buy some gourds a your local supermarket. Also, this is great for a table: in a clear glass bowl, add water, some real, fresh cranberries & floating candles. You can get all this at the supermarket.

years ago, my mom didn't know what to do with her white napkins that were getting a little old looking. I gathered some leaves, sponged cranberry and gold paint on them (seperate leaves for each color) and then pressed them onto the napkins like a stamp. She still uses them all these years later and gets compliments on them every time. You could do the same on paper napkins as well.

(don't use too much paint, you just want the subtle outline of the leave and it's veins)

Pumpkins are an easy decoration. Combine them with some fall leaves and acorns.

Go to Hobby Lobby or Michaels, or any craft store in your area, or a party store. Thanksgiving stuff is probably on sale right now.

Or you can go to a grocery store and buy a bunch of Indian Corn and gourds or winter squashes, tie a bunch of the corn together with raffia and put it on the center of the table/tables with the gourds and squash around it.

Hollow out a pumpkin and use it to hold mums.

Pommagranets, and squash can me used as decoration with some fall leaves in baskets. You can find some accenting ribbon somewhere and tie around it.

Centerpiece for the table-Go to your supermarket and get some lemons.

If you have a glass bowl you can arrange the lemons in the bowl accenting with pieces of various greenery-pine needles-citrus leaves. For added color-cranberries are a nice additon-make sure to arrange the lemons into a pyramid. Another nice addition would be to cut and orange or a persimmon into wedges and line the the rim with the flesh side out-For the oranges I would do half circles.

Candles-can't go wrong with candles. Try to stay away from white candles as they are more of a spring color-unless of course you have white flowers to match.

Pointsetta's-Go get some-great way to cover ground space-nice entrance or at the base of some seating areas-you can also use it as a centerpiece-by getting a shallow glass bowls and floating the flowers in it.

Dried Peppers and Dried Corn-Michaels or another crafts store will have articficial shubbery. Fabric stores are a great resorce for last minute holiday decorations.

Don't forget you can dress it up at the table-by getting some fake berries-(go to the xmas section-I can't remember what they are called but they usually retail under $2.00-you can make napkin holders-rings.

Buy some foam and the craft store and insert picks (flowers, berries, fruit -whatever and make yourself more decorations)

Get some ivy from the yard-rinse it a few times let it dry and wrap it around on the mantle staggering candles-

Actually check out martha stuart, cuz she probably knows the terminology better than me :o)

Do you have any baskets kicking around the house? (I know we seem to have a hundred of them and we can't even give them away!) Fill them will grapes hanging over the edge, apples, oranges, gourds, indian corn, and anything else from the supermarket. After all, Thanksgiving is for the bounty of the land, and invite people to take some with them after the meal.

The best Thanksgiving decor is *always* a fabulous meal.
