If you are having a large party , what are some good games to play?!

Question:

If you are having a large party , what are some good games to play?

My party is not until December, yet 27 people have said yes already and at this rate my party will be huge. I am already fixing dinner with pot-luck appetizers and desserts. There is a variety of people. Is mingling sufficient or should I have games?

Did anyone notice I said 27 people with more yet to reply?? The stripper pole suggestion was less than helpful.

get some music and dancing

Games like strip poker, truth or dare or spin the bottle. P.S. STRIPPER POLES HELP A LOT!!!!!

Bingo -(with prizes) - Charades - Poker - Uno - Card Games.

I like the game gestures, I went to my friends anniversary party and we played the game as teams the guy against the girls.

((((First yucking at the pole thing too)))

Now then....Charades is always popular, but why not cut everyone into groups and have several card games going like a tournament? Like pitch or something? Or even a pictionary tournament. That is inexpensive and you could even have teams up to like 10 people a piece?

Just a thought.....

Try Cranium, it works for larger crowds if you divide into teams. Also, try "Whose Line is it Anyways" games. For your outgoing guests it's a blast to play, for your quieter guests, a blast to watch. But honestly, with that many people, it might just be easier to let them mingle than to try and organize them into a mass game. Maybe have individual games available like cards or dice.
