Question:

What to do for a Winter Themed 16th Birthday Party?

I am planning on having an all girls party with about 30 people there. I want it to be winter themed and i need ideas for decorations, entertainment and food. I really need help on this because the Party is in 3 weeks. I am not having a Dj there I am playing music on my ipod. PLease Help!!

Answers:
I think that you should ask a friend to be your DJ with your iPod or something. Then, the food is a hard choice. I think you should ask ur friends what they like to eat, probably pizza all over the place and a huge cake with white candles and ur name on the cake. The decorations, I think that you should put cotton around the room, or fake snow from papers and tape them around the room too. In the beginning of the party make sure it is extra cold there.

Have 16 huge white candles where each candle represents something different about the birthday girl.

Have them all dress up like tis snowing and pary to Chistmas pop and keep the heat off

Firstly, u can decorate the place with cotton wool and adopt the white theme. That will easily fall into winter theme. Don't forget the air conditioner!

Entertainment - you can try to play some music with sounds of bells. Dry foam or snow powder can be sprayed occasionally to lift the atmosphere.

Food - ice cream, log cake, noggart, marshmallow, hot cocoa - more to a dessert theme.

Don't forget to get the girls involved and i believe that they will be glad to

Then I would go with snowmen or snowflakes. The thing about Winter is SNOW.If there will only be females eating, do a buffet salad bar,hot wings, chip and dips, and your Cake.Make finger foods, so there will be easy clean-up. If you go with snow as the theme, you can use all white napkins, eating utensils, plates, and cups. Then take some blue candles and put them around for color. You can pick up a snow flake table cloth---start looking now.The Christmas season brings out the snow flake themes..

Do a snowboarding theme....you can cut snowboard decorations out of foam core or plywood and paint them. The get lots of cotton batting and do the whole table in snow......serve hot chocolate and snowball cookies

What a cool idea ! You can suspend some glitters snowflakes, and add guirlands all over the walls. Candles can makes a cool ambiance too. For the music, you can play hot music you like, but add a bit of christmas songs, like "Jingle Bells Rock". Like food, maybe some littles cakes, and cool drinks.
