It depends on budget really and how many people you want to have and what sort of things you are into!.
Heres some ideas!.!.!.
You could have a girlie princess sweet 16, girls have to come in dresses and guys in shirt n ties or suits!.
You could do Hawaiian and have a cocktail bar and things like that!.
You could have a color themed one and have everyone come dressed in that 1 color!. This can look reallycool when everyone does it! Have all the deco and food based on that color!. Can work really well if say you have a fave color!. Like I like PINK :)
How about a heven and hell party!. Where you have to either come as a devil or an angel!. This can be really fun!.You can have white and red deco!.

how about something like around the world in the place that ur having ur party at have little booths of all diffrent kinds of food and activtys(from other countries) and having everybody dress up in some foren clothes and you could wear a cute normal dress and stand out and other normal sweet 16 stuffWww@FoodAQ@Com

You could do a Murder Mystery Game/Dinner!. They sell the kits, you provide the pizza and a CD player!. Lots of fun!
