everyone wore jerseys and caps
the place cards were tickets
it was very cool since i love baseball

You can use cheap basket balls to hold stuff or as a planter by cutting a hole in the middle then stick a flat surface for the ball to stay in place. Line with foil and use it to hold bread or other stuffl.You can have a contest, who ever can make most baskets, wins. Make your own basketball placemats.
I have never been to a bar mitsvah party but these suggestions for a party in general.
