Not sure what a round robin is but you could always have a cookie exchange. Everyone brings 3 dozen cookies, one dozen to share at the party and than everyone chooses two dozen to take home from all the ones people brought.
If you just wish to have your neighbors over for a holiday open house just send out invites and prepare finger food and some type of drinks.
If you want to do a potluck, send out invites stating that. I think this time of the year people love to show off what holidays treats and creations they like to make.

WOW! I just read the website suggested by Diana D. It sounds like a really great time. I hope your neighbors are up for it. It must be a pretty special neighborhood you live in. Where I live people rarely speak with one another although that was not always the case. The older folks have passed on and their homes have been bought by people who have no interest in getting to know the neighbors. I hope it works out.

SOUNDS LIKE SOO MUCH FUN. START PARTY AT YOUR HOUSE TALK TO ALL THE NEIGHBORS INVOLVED . THEN TRY TO GO IN ORDER .PLAN A MENU IS THERE GOING TO BE A MAIN COURSE OR JUST APPETIZERS,DRINKS DESERTS THEN HAVE EVERYONE PICK SOMETHING TO HAVE AT THERE HOUSE.PLAN ON HOW MUCH TIME YOU WILL SPEND AT EACH HOME.
GOOD LUCK!!!

WE WENT TO SOMETHING LIKE THIS ONCE AT THE END WE PICKED A HOUSE TO STOP AT LAST AND WE ALL PLAYED CARDS AND HAD DRINKS IT WAS FUN.
