Christmas Party.?!

Question:

Christmas Party.?

When is yours..We have already had one from work but our next Party is in the middle of December...I thought our 1st party were a bit early...what do you think??

Answers:
I like having early x-mas parties. Gets you in the mood for the holidays. Also you don't end up with the stress of all the last minute festivities.

With everything going on during the two-three weeks leading up to Christmas, it can be helpful to go with an earlier date. No harm-no foul.

not sure when our party is but its a dressing up and I'm not sure if i want to go! don't like drawing attention to myself!!

Mines this coming Saturday, just hoping it doesnt turn into a petty politic bitching-fest which they can so often do...

mines on the 16th!

Yes, I think your 1st party was a bit early. Mine isn't until December 14th, which is actually the day before I leave work! I'm going to have a bloody good time and really celebrate.

Urs was early ours is on the 16th Dec and I think it will be shite

I think having Christmas Party is great! December 1st is fine, and good way to start up the holidays. It also depends on what kind of party it is. If it was just gathering, I think it is a good start and put the people in festive mood! As for others, like my Cookie Exchange party is happening on the 17th, reason for that is because we wanted the ladies to bring home variety of cookies just in time for the holidays!

Go for it and maybe have some kind of activities or prizes that would motivate your guests to go and have fun!

Happy Holidays!

Seriously. A Christmas party in November? Tacky. That's like telling all your guests (or co-workers) that you have to get it over with so you can save December for the real Christmas parties.

The only thing worse or more thoughtless would be if your boss would throw a Christmas party on Christmas, knowing that very few employees would actually decline to show.

I like having the party early cause it gets you and your coworkers in the mood or spirit for the holiday. and you don't end up with the stress of last minute shopping. having them early has an advantage of stress and getting into the mood

ours is 9th dec i cant wait all that getting drunk saying things that you shouldnt kissing someone under the misoltoe in the stock room and photocopying my bum all to come on the 9th i cant wait!

Never too early. October is too early. End of Nov is okay. Or even near it. We are having ours dec 9th.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!;)

i am pregnant this year so no drinking for me this year.

Hey dont mock it!! if your employers are paying then make the most of the freebies!!! you've worked all year round for it anyway!!! if your bosses are'nt paying then just put it down to a well earned night out!! x
