To be on the safe side because it is hard to know what teens like (lol), I would purchase a cake designed with his/ her favorite picture on it or one of his or herself on it! They are really cool! I would make sure that plenty of her family and friends were there, have a video camera at hand, play their favorite music(you can ask their friends if you don't know), for food, just make what he/she normally likes with some burgers, baked barbecue chicken or party wings, with sides dishes, plenty of sodas and juices, and don't forget the chips and dips. If you are wondering the place to have it, if you can, try to rent a hall, or if your home is out of the question, ask a family member whose home can accommodate everyone. I hope your child has a great birthday party and plenty more! Oh yeah, if your child is still into this kind of stuff, how about a clown? I don't know but some thirteen year olds are into it and some may not be. They grow up so fast!lol!

What age?

Grab some paper, some crayons and some string. Make masks so that only the eyes are visible, colour them in then upload your pictures to www.westernveil.com.

Utterly childish - lots of laughs.

Have a great time!

Anything with food works well!!!!

I like getting lots of pictures of the guest of honor before the party and blowing them up on the computer or making a collage out of them to hang up. You can print out one picture like 30 times and cut out their face and tape them to the balloons or make masks for everyone to wear when they yell surprise. Or you can make a scrap book for the person~ Have a little scrap book station ask each guest to decorate one page and write birhday wishes or memories. Then you can put them in sheet protectors or an album as a keepsake for the birthday person.
