Do coconuts burn?!

Question:

Do coconuts burn?

Answers:
Of course coconuts burn. The dried shell of the coconut is a fuel source for many in developing nations.

Burning coconuts are also used in a ceremonial way to sweeten the open air in festivals where meats are being grilled with onions, garlic and other spices.

If you get the fire hot enough, even green coconuts will burn. Old tires will burn also, and are a source of fuel. They just don't smell as nice and are much more hazardous.

Yes if you put them in the oven to cook and you do not watch them they will burn.

coconuts will burn like coal if you chop them and let the juice run out. Once they are fairly dry...start a fire and pile them on....very hot coals with little flame. Great for blacksmithing!

When I cook, I can burn anything - even the pots and pans themselves.

What when they come out your but...
of course not
