yeah !!! me too . MM chocolate fondue and strawberries MM

Definitely chocolate - with fresh strawberries and pineapple! MMM!

it depends i like cheese and chips but i also like strawberrys and chocolate so i think chocolate wins lol

oooooh! what a tough question...I love cheese and chocolate...they are both great...do I have to have a favourite?

If pushed..then Chocolate is slightly better!

I think it varies on the time of day, the age of the people, if there are any vegetarians there.
I'm 50/50 as to what I personally like best - at the moment I'd really go for a cheese one tho!

Cheese fondue, or as it called is Switzerland and France: Fondue savoyarde.

It is delicious and everybody will love it.

It really depends on if you want it as an appetizer or a desert.

Personally I like both very very much.

There is a place called the melting pot that does your whole meal on fondue..it's great!

How about both? :o)

Cheese fondue for appetizers. Dark Chocolate for dessert with bananas, marshmallow, poundcake.. mmm.

Wrightgirl: I am going to the Melting Pot in two weeks in my area.

Both !!! they yam

both have their place, how about a cheese fondue followed by a chocolate one? If I had to choose just one it would be cheese though, it's classic.

Oh cheese definitely. And it has added calcium.

CHOCOLATE EVERYTIME BABY!!!

Chocolate, it is actually better for you and an aphrodisiac. Plus less stringy cheesey bits.

chocolate

i prefer cheese

A chocolate fondue that I can stick my face into and get covered in that luverly yummy scrummy choccy!
Failing that marshmallows and strawberries will do!

I love chocolate but I prefer cheese fondue

It depends on the occasion and whom is being served, in my opinion.

Cheese Fondue is better, because it goes with white wine.
Gruyeres and Vacherin Fribourgeois. When you get to the end, add a raw egg and mix it in.
I have never heard it called "fondue savoyarde" here in Switzerland, though I don't doubt that it's called that in France. In Switzerland it's just called "fondue" because it's the standard. Other dippy things have names.

Ever tried a meat one? Cut excellant quality steak into cubes. Now in the fondue pot (you'll need a gas one, not just a fairy light one), heat a load of sunflower oil. Make various dips eg:

Peanut Satay
Cream cheese and chive
tomatoe salsa
Pesto
Red pepper and coriander

each person has a pile of steak bites. You pop them in the fondue pot until cooked to your preference (I like almost raw) then dip then in the dips.

Brilliant!!!

Why choose?

Start with cheese and then go on to chocolate.

A great evening will be had by all (but make sure to drink some red wine or schnapps with the cheese - it helps to digest it).

Yum - can I come?

Chocolate is the best by far.

neither chips

eat some birdseed

Hmmm...You can a cheese one for the main course and chocolate for the dessert course!

Definitely cheese. Good for you (if a little on the fatty side!) tons of calcium, and warms you up after a cold winter day outside!
Chcolate fondue is a little much - the smell of melted chocolate gives me a really bad headache, even though I love to eat chocolate!

cheese

You can never go wrong with chocolate.
