Do squashed crisps weigh more or less than whole crisps?!

Question:

Do squashed crisps weigh more or less than whole crisps?

Answers:
same weight.
Didnt you do physics at school, thicko?

the same because at the end of the day there is still the same mass of crisps coz you aren't taking away or adding more weight.

they weigh the same.

doh
why would they
think about it........................

Of course not unless you have taken some out. Weight is by volume so unless you change the amount of volume it will weigh the same.

depends - would each broken crisp be regarded as a crisp in its own right, seperate from the others?
If so - a single fraction of broken crisp would weigh less than a whole, larger unsquashed crisp

........ but if you mean a whole packet of crisps, they would, of course weigh the same whether the pack had been squashed or not - as it contains the exact same weight of crisps either way

I'm glad you've put this in the entertaining section, as that's just what your question is. Entertaining.
OF COURSE IT'S THE SAME WEIGHT

WEIGHT OF SQUASHED CRISP WILL BE MORE SINCE VOLUME DECREASED EFFECTING LESS BUOYANCY

the same, they are just more compact...have u noticed if they were compacted you would have at least twice as many crisps in the packet - ah well such is life!!

They are packaged by weight not by size therefore they would weigh the same.

Thats a bit like...'what is heavier..a pound of feathers or a pound of lead'. heres a question for you...'Are you a member of mensa?'

if its yourself that squashes the crisps then the answer is no as you will more than likely eat the bits that you drop on the floor ,so if you weighed the full packet first then the squashed one you will find it at least three crisps lighter
