"Sweet 16" birthday party.............?!
I have a while to plan, but I wanted some ideas now!. My 16th birthday is in February, (the 2nd to be exact)!.!.!. And I want to plan an awesome party!
I DO live in SC, but it's still kinda cold for an outdoor party!.!.!.
--I'm not so sure about renting a place, cause, well!.!.!. It's expensive!.
--I will have ATLEAST 20 friends, so I'm not so sure my house will accomodate that many people!.
--I like music alot, so a live, local band, or awesome DJ would be nice!. (I actually have a friend who works for a radio station!.)
--A theme would be cool, but what kind!? (A theme guys, and girls would like!.)
--I'm not a tootie-frootie kinda girl!.!.!. Not into make up parties!.!.!. (I do wear it, but to me a make-up party reminds me of a 6 year old's party at Libby Lu!. Ha)
--I want it to be a 'cool' party, good theme, good music, (me in an awesome outfit, that possibly mathes the theme!.!.!.)

I live in Charleston, and last year my b-day was hot, as in temp!. I wore a tube top, capris, and sandals!.
Since it's your sweet 16, it has to be extra special, hot and rememberful!.
--ask your parents if they will pay to rent a place or if they have any friends that have a space you could use!. The big meeting rooms at hotels aren't that expensive try one of these!.
-- if your friend has the equipment ask him/her to dj!. otherwise put together a hot play list on your ipod or burn some cds and play
-- I would make it an all black event, (so that you would be able to wear something diff and no one else has it on) also versatile for both sexes!.

Sounds like its a more "grown" up type party!.!.!. I would try your park pavilions!.!.!. they typically run a lot cheaper, or try an american legion party place!. Its possible that these places are going to be much cheaper!. also try and stay with themes like greek (so everyone wears a toga) or hawaiian were you have a loo out !.!.!. something a long those lines!. They will be fun but still not kiddish!.
