There are so many things you can make inexpensively and so good! I entertain 20-25 people twice a month in my home and some times more!. Pasta, salad and bread is always good!. Sometimes I make a huge pot of soup and have a good crusty bread!. Potato and broccoli-cheese are the favorites!. One of the most popular dinners was an all breakfast foods meal!. I made French toast, scrambled eggs w/cheese and sausage and bacon!. A salad bar set-up or a baked potato bar is fun and inexpensive too!.Chicken leg quarters are very cheap and are great on the grill!. If you serve your food in a beautiful way, anything can be suitable for entertaining!. A few nice platters, bowls and dessert cups will make a beautiful presentation!. It really does make a big difference and set the mood for the evening!. Don't feel like you have to spend a lot of money to make a great meal!. Read lots of recipes and have fun!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

lol a real good way to meet new people is to just cruise around a neighborhood around u and just look for a party that looks like it has very little attention towards the guests coming in!.!.!.and just walk in!.!.people tend to not even ask questions especially if u come as a couple because u guys can bounce ideas and stuff off of each otherWww@FoodAQ@Com

have a pot-luck type welcoming party at your new place (or a neighbor's)!.
check out the nature in the area (& hike, sight-see, have a picnic in the woods, etc!.)
a lot of places have discounted activities (like bowling at midnight, etc!.) that are great ways to meet people & save some money while you're at it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depending on where you're moving I'd do a BBQ!. It's cheap to BBQ hotdogs and Hamburgers!.!.!.and pasta and potato salad are also very cheap and easy so make in big quantities!. I know you don't drink but I would fill a cooler with some beer for your guests :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

How about a taco night or a potluck!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
