Can or should a surprise party be redone?!

Question:

Can or should a surprise party be redone?

My birthday was in July and they threw me a surprise party which I failed to show up for. I was never lead there. It probably qualifies as a fiasco. Surprises never work out for me.

Would it be a bad idea to try again if I could gain some cooperation? I know in effect I would be throwing my own party, but having to keep the guests in the dark. I would be really surprised if this plan worked.

The guests won't know I will be collaborating with the original planner. The surprise this time is when I am present and the party succeeded. Nobody would expect a surprise party 2 months after the fact -- that is why it will be a surprise.

I think it would be a great idea. The birthday boy throwing a surprise party for his friends, awesome. If you could pull it off that would rock. GO FOR IT.

Seems to me that it's a bit late for your birthday this year - maybe wait until next year? I think throwing yourself a party and giving your friends little gifts is a great idea! It's celebrating life - your own! :) Good luck to you!

Sorry you missed your surprise party. The hosts usually plan a little better and should have had someone to get you there. It would be a great idea to throw yourself a party, just a party though since your birthday was in July (no gifts). I'm sure your friends would enjot that.

NO!

THAT WOULD BE COOL GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!:-)

It's definately possible that it would work out. It would be more a surprise to them though but if that's what u want then go 4 it. Sounds like a plan to me.

what kind of a question is that, it's your own fault that you missed your own surprise party. I don't think it should be redone, Just tell them to try again next year and to do it RIGHT next time.

Throw your own party and tell every one you are doing it. Don't cheat and let people think of it being a surprise . Go for it and have a good time.
