why dont you go to the store and buy some and try it before you go to all the trouble of making it. alot of people dont like it and there are alot of people who do like it i love it, we dont put any rum in ours but i heard a little rum tastes pretty good in it but none of us drink alcohol . but i would if i were you go to the store and buy a little quart of the egg nog before i bought it....

eggs?

Raw egg yolks, cream, sugar, milk, vanilla extract and nutmeg. It tastes nasty, sort of like pig vomit and because it's made with uncooked eggs it can give you salmonella if not handled properly. Some people add alcohol to it like Baileys cream or Rum which makes it even more nauseating. Happy Holidays.

Here is the way we made fresh eggnog in my house while growing up. For each servig whip two fresh eggs, add in two or three teaspoons of sugar, and half teaspoon of pure vanilla extract and a half teaspon of imitation rum flavoring. Mix into at least 8 ounces of fesh cold milk and mix in a blender. Add a shot of dark rum for the adults.

mixture of egg and rum

Raw Eggs

an absolutely horrifyingly disgusting drink

go to the liquer store and buy I think's it "Old English" brand. Or just ask the person who is working the best nog brand. It's pretty decent unless you don't want alchol in it. But I think that is the only way to drink it. Sprinkle a little nutmeg on top and make sure it's chilled.

If you want alchol free they make some decent ones, just go to the grocery store.

raw eggs, sugar, cream, and Im not sure what alcohol

Most of the recipes given would work, to make it evenbetter add lemonade..what we used to then call a snowball.
