Call it a "50 is Fabulous Party"!.!.!. celebrate 50 years of living!. Do a timeline on the wall with all the events of this person's life such as high school prom, first car, first date etc!. Even have friends and family there to do a testimonial to them!. That means a lot!. well the usual is the over the hill all black stuff for decorations!. And the Nifty Nifty (name) turned 50 sign in the front yard!.
If this is a parent or hubby or a significant loved one take the lead and do something you know they would enjoy a great deal!. If they are adventurous a white water rafting trip or a hot air baloon ride and a nice picnic sunset dinner when you return!. Now that would truly mark the big fifty for me!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

We did this for my dad:
Get 50 bags of 50 things!.
50 nails
a 50 foot hose
50 socks (all white so he'll always have a pair that matches! lol)
50 ounces of his favorite beer
50 pieces of gum
50 daffodil bulbs ( cuz mom wanted them )
Just go to Home Depot and get 50 of many small things!.
What are his hobbies!? Fishing - get 50 lures!.
We had a blast shopping and it took him a long time to open all 50 little bags!. We used lunch bags!.
