We are hosting a 50th Birthday party and would love to have a Mock Eulogy, lying the persons youth to rest, does anyone have a copy of one or have any ideas. Thanks!

Wouldn't it be better if it was personal and not something generic off the internet. You obviously know the person, write one up.
Kind of morbid. What I would do is a roast. Enlist all the guests to stand up and totally bash them with jokes about childhood, college, etc... (In the kind-hearted sense). All the ones I see on TV, the guest is really enjoying hearing friends and relatives recount his youth. HTH!
This Is Your Life
Instead of having an "over the hill" party, I suggest having a "this is your life party." Along with the invitation ask your guests to return a questionaire in which you have asked some variation of the following:

The funniest thing I ever saw (use guest of honors name) do was when he _________________.
The happiest I ever saw (use guest of honors name) was when he____________________.
The dumbest thing I ever saw (use guest of honors name) do was____________________.
(use guest of honors name) drives me crazy when he _______________.
My most memorable moment with (use guest of honors name) was ____________________.
List five words that describe (use guest of honors name).
You may to make up your own questions or add to these. You may also want to ask the party guests to share a favorite photo of or story about the guest of honor. The hardest part is deciding how to share this information with guests. You may want to have them put these answers on video, have a slide show, have the party guests read the stories or quips out loud, or invite several special people to tell their stories. If you feel awkward acting as an MC, then ask a good friend or minister to do it for you. Make sure you allow yourself plenty of time for planning .
The best part of a party like this is that everyone can participate - children, grandchildren, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, old friends, new friends and spouses. You can also put the answers, stories, and photos in a scrapbook for the guest of honor to keep.
You will have some laughs and you may even shed a tear or two, because memories are a truly special gift which make getting older worth it.

You would have to be 50 or over to understand that this isn't morbid, it's just silly fun. I have been to so many 'funeral premieres' for my friends that it's one of the highlights of this decade for me. Eulogies are perfect. But, really, make up your own. If you are going to a 50th birthday party then you have been to a funeral or two in your life, you know what to do.
