Music for halloween party....?!

Question: Music for halloween party!.!.!.!.!?
Its for older teens!. I don't want too much boring spooky background noise!. How do I blend the party music with the scary sounds!? One dude suggested I have 2 stereos and play them at the same time, but does that really work!.!.!. my yard (where were having the party) is huge, and its outside so I don't know how much it will 'blend' !.!.
Do you have any music suggestions!? do you think I should play popular songs on the radio in addition to the special halloween stuff!.!.!.!.!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
You could start with Halloween music as your guests are entering the party!. I don't know what kind of setup you have going on exactly, but are you going to have some sort of creepy entrance to the party area set up!? Like for my party for example, the entrance will be a graveyard with fog machines and strobelights and stuff!. In that area, I am playing the spooky music!. Once everyone arrives and gets settled in though, it's party time! I included on my invites that I would like a list of 5-10 songs from everyone that they would like to have played!. Whatever songs they want that I don't already have in my collection I will just download for them!. That way everyone will be pleased with what we are listening to!. It will probably be a mixture of pop, hip hop, punk and metal!. Oh, by the way, my opening song for the entrance area for when people start arriving is This Is Halloween from The Nightmare Before Christmas!.!.!.!.a fitting choice I think!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

make a playlist of songs that you like and also a little mix of what some of your friends might like and put it on your ipod, (maynbe some halloween songs also like monster mash and fun songs like that lol maybe even ghost busters!. lol!.hook up to your stero outside and listen to that while you guys are hanging out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Have the spooky sounds playing in a quiet area, such as in a bathroom, so people can really hear them!.

It's a Halloween party, so definatly start the night with a Halloween CD!. They will enjoy it , and since they are older teens, I am sure they will change the music to whatever they choose after the party gets going!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
