Answers:

frozen meatballs.

Just add a different kind of sauce that you make (or buy) so it seems special. Think of three foods.

then add them to the blender with mayo and some salt and wow a chefs special sauce.

This might be a good option:

1 ripe cantaloupe or honeydew melon
About 3/4 pound very thinly sliced Prosciutto de Parma
Equipment: Bamboo skewers

Cut the ends off the melon and stand it on end. Remove the rind in several wide strips by running a knife, between the rind and flesh, in smooth strokes. Halve the melon lengthwise and, using a spoon, scoop out and discard the seeds. Cut each half lengthwise into 3/4-inch wide wedges; cut the wedges crosswise into 1-inch pieces. Cut the prosciutto into 1-inch-wide strips about 2 to 3 inches long. Wrap each melon piece with a prosciutto strip and spear with the end of a skewer.

Almost all weddings, large or small, believe or not, have pigs in blankets (or some variation of it). It's a real crowd pleaser. You can go to Costco or BJ's Wholesale and buy tons of them for really. All you need to do is pop them in the oven for a little while and no one will know the difference.

cookies its cheap but also good shoo.lo

This is going to sound like cheating but check out the frozen food sections at a grocery...especially since you're be feeding quite a few people, some place like Sam.s or Costco. They have party bags/packs of such great foods as pinwheels (cream cheese), stuffed mushrooms, etc. Another good idea, if you like chicken wings, is your favorite sports bar for party size platters. We have one around here called Frickers that makes outstanding wings (various degree of spicy sauces) that they'll prepare for your party (hey, ain't no shame in outsourcing when you can!).

If you want to make homemade, and God bless you if you do with all the other planning you'd have to do if this is your wedding). check out http://www.recipezaar.com for simple inexpensive finger foods. appetizers, and hors de houvers.

Wow, cut and paste is a beautiful thing...

What time of day, and how many people?

I am getting married in May, and I am doing a picnic reception for 25, packing individual boxes. But a good option is a dessert only reception for the afternoon, or a brunch wedding, because breakfast food is much less expensive. For an informal or small reception, you could ask family members to bring a dish, then place a card at each dish stating who made it. Then collect the recipes into a book to give out like a favor...just an idea...

Being a bride is great, isn't it? Congratulations!!!!

chicken !!! buy those thigh&drums usally 39 to 50 cents a pound
get about 20 peices cut those in four peices makes 80 peices
fry them and make hot chicken or bake it with lemon pepper
