Know of a good restaurant in Lincoln Park, Chicago?!

Question:

Know of a good restaurant in Lincoln Park, Chicago?

I'm running the half-marathon in Chicago this weekend, and I really want to go some place good for dinner the night before (in Lincoln Park). Trying to get a carbload before the race, any suggestions?

Answers:
Both of these places have good food. Via Carducci is a nicer, more traditional place. Pasta Bowl has a much louder room and is cheaper.

Via Carducci, 1419 W. Fullerton, Southern Italian
Pasta Bowl, 2434 N. Clark St.

Good luck on the course!

McDonald's is key for marathon runners.

Lots of good restaurants in Lincoln Park. Try using the Chicago Reader's online Restaurant Finder, at the link below.

Sorry, Illinois is bereft of good food AND good taste.
Fortunately, tasteful, charming, and hospitable Wisconsin is slightly nort of Chicago.
Just cross the border & eat at the first non-franchise joint you find. In your case, be sure it includes "resort" or "supper club" to guarantee superb dining.
Good luck, and thank you for dining in America's Dairyland.
