No RSVPs, should I cancel my daughter's 4th Birthday Party?!

Question: No RSVPs, should I cancel my daughter's 4th Birthday Party!?
I sent the invitations on Monday and the party is on Saturday!. It is Wednesday and no one has yet responded!. Should I wait or cancel!? Don't want to see her upset about no one showing up!. Thank you!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ah yes, the etiquette of people nowadays is not what is use to be!. You will find that people rarely RSVP(which means you have to track down their yes or no)!.

You will have to call them!. Don't cancel until you have spoken to each of the parents!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well invitations should go out two weeks before the event!. The fact that you just sent them Monday - (and this is Wed) most people are just going to get them in the mail today (or they got them yesterday - maybe) so I wouldn't cancel her birthday as some will that never RSVP and some will RSVP probably by tomorrow since you just sent them out!. Could be also though that some have already got plans for the weekend - you didn't give them much notice!. I bet you'll get enough to reposnd though - a 4 year old doesn't need a lot to make them happy - their own family a cake and ice-cream and a gift and they are pleased!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Less than a week isn't usually enough notice for a gathering on a Saturday! Nonetheless, give your guests a call to double check if someone can come!. If not, make your daughter's birthday special by taking her to "tea" or another fun place and having cake, or cupcakes, ice cream and her favorite foods!. Plan another party at a different time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you should of sent out the invites at least 2 weeks in advance, its kind of short notice, my experience is that my weekend is planned out in advance, dont cancel, just call the people on your list, to find out, more than likely they still havent received the invite yet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd wait until tomorrow evening and then start calling!. If you sent the invitations on Monday they may not have received them until today!.

In the future, it's probably better mailing the invitations about (2) weeks before the party!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

In this case it is not rude to call parents and double check!.!.!.often people do not RSVP!. Even if none of her friends can make it, dont cancel!. Im sure there will be other family there right!? At 4 as long as she has people there who love and care about her she will be happy!Www@FoodAQ@Com
