Has anyone been to Ystradgynlais what was it like who was the village idiot?

I am not sure who the village idiot was but if you want to go to an Eisteddfod go for it. Typical welsh town what more can you say
No but I studied the teaching of IT to girls there on one of my courses with the Open university in 1996. Seemed a well educated bunch - other than that - a lovely Welsh town.
