You should go to Costco, and your favorite grocery store deli!. They do alot of those type foods at a pretty reasonable price, and you could even pick it up the day of the wedding if necessary!. If you don't want to do mini sandwiches, but are doing a meat & cheese tray then how about supplying a bunch of rolls & a condiment tray so they could build their own!. I think that bread or at least crackers are important as fillers!. I've been doing alot of research on this as our wedding date approaches!.!.!. just remember that your friends are coming for YOU - they will be happy with anything that's there to snack on! Best of luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
We have used these ideas for parties and some for our own wedding:
Sandwich tray (mini croissants pre-sliced, assorted meats, cheeses and condiments)
Fruit tray with dip (dip we made is a large tub of Cool-Whip with about 1/4 cup Amaretto mixed in and chilled!.!.!.very nice and simple)
Veggie tray with dip
Meatballs in gravy, cheese dips, cocktail franks in sauce!.!.!.these can all be done in a slow cooker so you don't have to mess with them during the day before hand!.
Deviled eggs
Relish trays (olives, pickles, marinated mushrooms, etc)
Shrimp rings (can be bought prepared in most grocery or warehouse stores)
Pasta salads
Large bowl of salad with assorted dressingsWww@FoodAQ@Com

I don't like her personally, but take a look at Martha Stewarts' "Hors d'oeuvres" book; she has lots of lovely finger food ideas that are a bit different!. I've made several & they turn out well (orange muffins with smoked turkey, asparagus w/ prosciutto, torellini skewers & lemon garlic dip!.!.!.) Check it out of the library!. It's expensive!.

cheese, deli meat and crackers are all good!. Since you can't fill your guests up before the actual FOOD comes, anything small will do!. Things like veggies and fruit are acceptable as well!.!.
Still, these things aren't as fancy as you might want for a wedding!.
I hope you have a good wedding!
May your finger-food luck be with you!.!.!.!?!?!?!
