What's everyone having for Sunday dinner?!

Question:

What's everyone having for Sunday dinner?

When my son is in from college, Sunday dinner is a family gathering before he leaves. Need some ideas.

Answers:
Now its Monday but we had Cesar salad with bacon and Parmesan

cafe china

I'm having chicken alfredo with my mom.

I'm having pizza, yummy1

Traditional Sunday dinner....Ham, mashed taters with gravy, and a green bean cassarole served with a salad, and bread rolls.

For desert, a warm cherry pie...ala mode.

Well, my grandma has Sunday dinner EVERY SUnday. We usually have some sort of meat (ham, meatloaf, pork, etc) and chicken and dumplings, green beans, mashed potatoes, cornbread, corn, coleslaw, fried apples, and ALWAYS a dessert....maybe cherry cobbler, banana pudding, choc. cake, YUM!
I think I'll go down there now, I've made myself hungry.

Chicken and dumplings....mmmmmm

Well when i have some close family and friends over we usually have pot roast with veggies and sometimes meatloaf or spaghetti with meat balls. pasta and salad is a good meal on Sundays or if your son likes a particular dish then that would be good. I am sure he misses moms home cooking while in college good luck

my son is always here and i'll be barbaqueing cheese burgers in paradise, and have french fried potatoes with them.,sounds like a song don't it,if it rains i'll get a take out pizza though

If you are having something good, I am coming to your house for dinner. Set an extra plate. :)

I'm having grilled fish, a baked potato, and green beans.

Well today we are grilling baby-backed pork ribs, baking some yams and I might make a corn pudding. But the ribs are the main event..yum!

Beef Pot Pie and Butternut Squash cake with vanilla frosting.

I'm making Italian Beef sandwiches in the crock pot.

Rolauden served with red cabbage and mashed potatoes, salad and bread, Black Forest Cake for dessert.

This is a traditional German recipe which usually make only on Sundays due to the prep involved and the number of rolauden rolls I have to prepare. It is a family favorite and also a dish that is not often found in every German restaraunt every day due to the prep. For those who don't like the red cabbage any other vegetable can be made for the side dish.

pot roast

My mom is making a casserole

Sunday dinner is usually pot roast w/mashed potatoes, etc or Stouffer's Grandma's chicken & rice bake if I'm short on time. Matter of fact, sometimes I even buy the pot roast already cooked. Sad... can you tell I'm a single mom? Enjoy the time you have w/your family! You can't do that if you spend the entire day in the kitchen (unless they want to help).

These are the best suggestions I have since I just woke up about 3 hrs ago and none of it sounds good to me.

fried chicken.mashed potatos, biscuits and peach cobbler

Steak on the grill and some tossed lettuce Salad and baked potatoes with coconut cream pie for dessert. I can say it was pretty good today.
