Any suggestions for what kind of food to serve at Halloween party?!
I don't want to prepare just "finger foods", instead I'd like to serve something more substantial!. I'd like to grill since it still won't be too cold!. Do you think shish kabobs are appropriate!? They're quick to grill and can be prepared the night before!. Any suggestions on side dishes!.

Shish kebab is always nice!. I'm sure you'll choose your meat to suit your guests!.
Hot biscuits or other warm bread (garlic!?) would always be appreciated!. Halloween seems to be a good time for serving apple stuff, so any apple recipes would probably go over well!.
If it does turn chilly in your area, you can always serve chili!. Make sure to only use beef or turkey or chicken, and you're fine!. Serve any cheese on the side, to be added or not as one wishes (and his or her religion allows!. I don't know if Muslims do also not mix meat and dairy, like the Jews don't!. Some of their dietary laws are similar!.) Paper bowls and plastic spoons make clean-up much more practical!.
Bumps on a log will usually go over well!. It's peanut butter spread into celery stalks and dotted with raisins!. Cut the celery into 2" lengths and have this as an appetizer!.

Shish Kabob sounds wonderful! Of course, you should call it "Grilled IRS Audit Agent" or something scary like that!. If you look at the checkout lane at the grocery store this time of year, you will see small, paperback, seasonal cook books!. There are Halloween cook books out now that have recipes for all sorts of wonderful "scary" foods!. Everything from appetizers to desserts!. The books are less than $5!.00 and the menu ideas are really cute and "appropriate" to the event!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
