I look at something beautiful, like a flower, I see beauty. This is not an opinion, an idea, because it is the experience of beauty. When I am looking and I see the particular details of colors, shape, form, size, texture, and so on, I am recording partial information, and no longer seeing the whole thing of beauty. Then I think about the details and from memory, past experiences, I make comparisons, judgements, and conclusions. Then I have the thought this is good/bad, and so on.
