What kind of beverage should we serve?!
My fiance and I are planning a wedding reception that includes dinner!. The two entree choices are beef and smoked turkey!. Neither of us are familiar with wines or any other fine spirits, so we need suggestions!. Can anyone suggest any brands of wine, sparkling wine, etc!. that would be appropriate!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

A red wine is best with beef, and would even stand up to a smoked turkey (since it's a heartier flavor)!. Try some California wines: Mondavi makes good merlot and cabernet - or even pinot noir or Beaujolais (which are lighter reds)!. They're very good quality and not terribly expensiveWww@FoodAQ@Com
Beaujolais, Pinot Noir and Merlot are probably the easy winners here!. Beaujolais if probably the cheapest, and it should run you under twenty dollars!. I tend to stay away from the california stuff because I find that anything I enjoy tends to be over priced!. A burgundy would probably also work well and you could show off your fancy french bottle of wine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
