Hungarian goulash (gulyas): beef boiled together with potatoes, onion and tomatoes with a lot of red and spicy pepper for a couple of hours.

My favorite dish is "Balesh" -Tatar traditional food, it is kind like a meat pie but you have to cook it differently then American style.
you'll need east dough, meat it could be lamb ribs or chicken with bones or no bones at all, potatoes, carrots, corn, green beans, mushrooms, all cut in small peas. Use deep dish to make the "balesh" cut dough in to two. Use your first dough to make bowl then add all of your ingredients in it then cover with second piece to cover it. Make a hole at the top of the pie 3" in diameter with lid made of the the same dough. Put in the oven for 3-4 hours 350 F-400 F every 40 min add the some watter in to the pie through the opening at the top. It would make a bullion in the pie.
