Answers:
Use a lot of dry ice in buckets to create the smoke effect, use a chainsaw with the blade removed and have someone chasing people with it....the dead people or ones that should be dead...lots of blood and amputated body parts....a creepy old person....the dead prom queen....or theme it off of a movie. Sooooo many ideas!!!

omg you should seriously hire some one, or get some one you know to stand somewhere all still and scary that looks like a murderer or the girl from the ring and is all dressed up scary

haha kill someone and hanghim out front lol jk

ok start with the basics just add mike myers and stuff like that

put something died in there hanging on your door -k-

Get an old office printer that keeps displaying, "error pc load letter." That would scare me.

Just make it really dark, weird noises, and creepy guys popping out to scare people. that's what people always jump at when they go thru haunted houses. maybe even have a dark room pitch black and don't let them walk, just sit there, for a while to start out. that will set the mood.

if your house is haunted y do u need to make it scary

Have a warlock laying in a coffin as people walk in (darkened area... like porch), where they really can't see it too well... then the warlock should say "hello" when people walk past, in a slow, deep voice... freaks 'em out.

invite me i will make sure everyone is scared out of there WITS!

Dry Ice for fog.
Lights off - candles only.
Low spooky music (you can buy cheap cassettes).
'Finger' foods.
Spider Webs (at costume shops).
Spiders or small bats hanging low enough that their head hit them.
