Can you use any kind of chocolate in a chocolate fountain?!

Question:

Can you use any kind of chocolate in a chocolate fountain?

do i need anything else , someone thought i needed some kind of oil!!!!!

Answers:
Any time I've seen the chocolate for fountains sold it's been in nugget form. www.iwantoneofthose.com has them.

I don't think you need oil...as long as the chocolate melts well im sure itl be fine.

Yes! Cooking chocolate is cheaper though! Add some cooking oil to it to make it runny!! It will be smoother.

Yes ,you need oil to keep it flowing ,else it sets.

Use regular milk or dark chocolate like chocolate chips or if you have a Michael's Craft Store or Hobby Lobby nearby they sell Wilton brand chocolate candy coating wafers. Make sure to melt the chocolate in the microwave first, add a little bit of vegetable oil to help it flow and then pour it into your fountain.
Hope that helps!

Just chocolate - white, dark or milk. What else do you need?

Yeah, any kind of chocolate but you need to add 3/4 cup of vegetable oil to make it run smoothly.

Any chocolate will work with the addition of vegetable oil. I only use sephra brand chocolate in my fountain. Its a great product, not very expensive either. The best part about it is you don't have to add any oil to it. Its perfect every time. Just FYI about the fountain, did you know that you can use it for other things besides chocolate. Ive used cheese, salad dressing, and even caramel. I imagine you can use it for numerous things as well. Check out sephra fountains.com

You're online already, look up the right website for your fountain and the instructions should be there, as well as some great recipes. chocolate doesn't have to be chocolate alone, you know.

Have a good party.

You have to use i little oil and chocolate that melts other than that your OK if you want to make sure for your self though look on the box if you don't have it go to the store and just look at one of the boxes hope it helps bye bye

Yes, you will need oil for most common chocolates out there, but it's not really recommended, especially if you are going to use it in a fountain. If you want to use chocolate that doesn't require oil, check for chocolate that has a higher percentage in cocoa butter. Check out my source link for a list of chocolate that doesn't need oil to flow.

yes but the type of chocolate they sell to go with the machines is the best
